okay...have SO much to blog about...PROM! JAMES BLUNT CONCERT! TODAY AT SCHOOL! SPRING BREAK! and i don't want to, but i shall persevere! Prom was last saturday, i went to Alison's for pictures and makeup before dinner at Elizabeth's. There were actually like 16 people there, 4 guys, and chinese food! it was hecka fun. more pictures. saw Priya. she was hot. we were all hot, dammit. ha. so we took taxis over there, it ruled! the taxi dude was from Pakistan, don't remember his name, but he was hecka cool. so we got there and got our purses searched, and then got some food, it kinda sucked, but the deserts were foodgasmic, lord. cheesecake, chococlate mousse, chocolate cake, lemon cake, all sorts of pretty swirly things! and we actually danced a LOT, me and all my friends (Cassie was a bit out of place lol) and it was so fun! good music, dancing and lots of fun, yeah! and Heather is the coolest white girl ever to live. the sistahs loved her. just like Nicki! he was there too and all the thugs are like HEEEY! haha it was fabulous. and the scenery...it was right on the water, three walls of windows, totally view of the city, white and gold balloons, floating candles on the tables, it was SO fabulous! had a GREAT time! and then i went to Alison's afterward but didn't stay the night cause i was getting sick and had dance rehearsal the next day. we saw Nina and Jonathan then, it was awesome. they're the cutest couple, i swear. and her hair was fabulous too. totally let us run her fingers through it and it was like oh man, if you only knew. hahaha *changes song to Modern Girl by Sleater-Kinney. love them.* okay, wednesday was the JAMES BLUNT concert! oh my god, first we saw Anna's dad's office, that place should be a tourist attraction, it's so BIG! and just really beautiful, we hung there for a bit, got some mexican food, and then went over there. she got a poster and i got the tourbook (he's SOO beautiful) and then we saw the last song and a half of Sierra Swan, she looks kinda like Bonnie Mckee who looks kinda like Tori. so there ya go. The Boy Least Likely To was the second opening act, 5 dudes and a chick, British, and SO awesome! they were all energetic and bouncing around and had their striped shirts and shit. it was really awesome and Anna and I are gonna have an album release party for ...well, us. the day it comes out. lol so then a creepy cowboy guy gave me a lollipop. i licked it. i'm an idiot. the cowboy shall return. so, the CONCERT... oh my god, he came on and it was like...we were just freaking out. losing it. we had the GREATEST time, he sounds so great live, he's hot, his band is hot, he actually played a lot of songs i don't know/aren't my faves, but it was fun!! Highlights were Goodbye my Lover (i cried, Anna laughed at me so i hit her but we hugged), No Bravery (he played footage from when he was in the war...a war. somewhere.), You're Beautiful (Ironic-esque sing along!), So Long Jimmy (closed the show before encores), and Out of my Mind sounded great live. and the graphics on the screen were hecka weird! like kalidascope and this weird monkey and blinking eyes and fire and random stuff. weirder than Tori, i think. lol but yeah. fabulous times. and after we talked to this cool 20 something chick with good earrings who was front row center, how great is that? and then the creepy cowboy (told ya he was coming back!) started hitting on me. and he was like 40. he said i was gorgeous and seemed older cause i had an..aura or something. and he shook my hand and i was like ew, contamination! he was just weeeird. his name was Stephan. look out for that guy. ew. and then Anna's dad came me a ride home! good stuff. lol today at school...my english teacher wasn't there so we played BS most of the block. better than Lord of the Flies. it sucks ASS, that book. we were betting on cheese too. it was like ooh. this is NOT even about us. it's about the chesse. and i got along really well with some girls i didn't know so well, which was fun. and in spanish, there was a foreign exchange studen named Franz! and he was all European and he was cute! from Austria. Vienna. good stuff! he's with Charlie. i mean, staying at his house. not WITH Charlie. and he was wearing this sweater and polo shirt that was really cute cause he was all European. and real tall. lol and then we cut dance to go to Starbucks with Alison and Priya and Lynn and Alison's friends but we didn't talk to them so much. just chilling. good times. and the En Pointe show is coming up during spring break, yay! and i may or may not spend a couple days at Shauna's house, that'd actually be really fun! okay. my fingers hurt. (huh. huh huh. i miss Cyndi. ha.) i'm out now! oh wait, i'm gonna post my lesbianic poem. i like it a lot. hee. its called lacethighsteeth (always the innocent party) Always the innocent party, you are. Eyes wide, lashes fluttering, pouty lipped, you are Pure as undriven snow (the grass is dirty on the other side) Everyone’s girl but your own (and aren’t you lonely?) Don’t you want me to mold you baby? With rich lip tint and ebony rimmed eyes? Don’t you want to return my steady penetrating gaze? Don’t you wanna be the cutest little femme dyke the world ever saw? Because you wouldn’t want it any other way (would you, now). Didn’t I ask you to stop whining, sweetheart? That scratch doesn’t hurt that badly, does it now? Blood red skin for blood red nails (how silly). Come here honey, let’s dance, I’m sorry Until we’re spiraling down, swirling lights Nearly six underground by now, darling My finger brushes your lips As if they were light As if this life was light And you know they’ll always say Always the innocent party, you are. You loved me too (I swear you did) Always the innocent party If I remember correctly, it was you, lace clad with your teeth on my thighs Always the innocent party You’ll never touch me again (I know you know but I don’t know how you feel) But you can’t untangle The coiling, interlaced knot of our stories (I’m part of you, you know.) Always the innocent party I’ll remember your satin skin when I’m all alone Arch your back and close your eyes for me, baby You know I never loved you Labels: cheese, concert, poetry, prom, sleater-kinney, spring break |
