okay, now today, where as i have more news, if thats possible.
so, i wake up, and im too tired to really do anything except clean my room a little, and i called Janet. then...
I WENT TO THE DANA GLOVER CONCERT!!
i had somewhat gvien up. and the odds were there, we left hours late, we didn't have tickets yet, me and my sis were supposed to be 21, and we got lost in San Francisco, but still! it happend!!
and, we had seats right in front, i mean it. i was 2 feet away from the stage. and Dana was first.
Encapturing.
Stunning.
It was really amazing. She's so pretty, so tall and thin too, much more than i expected. she looks like a model, which she used to be, so that makes sense.
she performed about half the songs off Testimony, and one bonus track from the U.K. version.
then, once she finshed, she went into this room for a minute to collect herself, then came back out for pics and autographs.
SHE TOUCHED ME! SHE GAVE ME AND HUG AND TALKED TO ME AND TOOK THE SONG THAT ME AND JANET WROTE, AND SIGNED MY CD!
she was too nice, and so real, and it was unbeliveable.
we saw her later, cause we left 'for the other 2 rock bands that i haven't heard of, and my mom got to talk to her, and they gave us a free poster, which she signed and is on the wall behind me.
i was in a state of shock.
i still really am.
this has been the most amazing weekend in so long, and not much is gonna be able to top it, till the summer dance intesive, when i finally meet Paula and Kelly.
True beauty has graced my life.
